Salma Hayek's View On The Bible

In an interview for the magazine Marie Claire Salma says....

"I don't like the way the Bible views women - this thing about the Virgin Mary conceiving a child without having sex - so if you conceive a child by having sex, there's a subliminal message that there's something dirty about it.

"And this is what makes us divine - I mean, the possibility of creating another life should remind women that we are creators, that we are made like God in our ability

"There is nothing greater than to create another human being."

Wow! I especially like the parts..We are divine...We are creators...We are like God in our ability..There is nothing greater than to create.

Salma is on to something! Yes, we are extensions of the Universal Life Force also referred to as God. It is our connection to this greatness...This Divinity...This Limitless Power...That allows us to create magnificence!

Let's create in Joy!

Mel B names baby after Eddie Murphy

...Her name is Angel Iris Murphy Brown

Mel B says she named her little girl Angel because "She was her little Angel" during her pregnancy.

Isn't it wonderful? Angels are recognized by most religions, even if they are referred to by a different name. Most will agree that these spiritual beings are messengers.

What messages are you allowing into your consciousness? Do you believe in luck and failure? Or will you set your intentions on manifesting the desires of your heart?

I'm often asked (during a session) if a particular event will occur i.e. a certain job opportunity or the meeting of a perfect soul mate. Most of the time I "see" that these desires are on the horizon but may be delayed. So then I "look" in an effort to find out why. What I see next astounds me. More often then I like to admit, the reason this particular desire is delayed is because my client is listening to the wrong message. The message that says "I don't deserve it", Or "It will never happen, because good things never happen to me."

I'd like to encourage you to listen to the small still voice that tells you that "All Is Well." We live in an abundant Universe and Well being is our birthright!

"DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES"!

............And you shall receive!

We learn early in life how to ask. In infancy, we cry (a form of asking). Our new parents are eagerly willing to oblige us. Sometimes the motivation is stimulated by their need for silence at 2:00 am, and propelled by the knowledge that they have to go to work within the next few hours.
In adolescence we throw tantrums!(a more aggressive form of asking)
As an adult we are tenacious in our asking. We work long hours because we want a promotion, we wear certain clothes because we want to attract the perfect mate, or we study REALLY hard so that we may EARN a degree. In all of these cases we are asking!
We have the "Asking" perfected. So what's next? How do we receive what we are asking for?

We have been conditioned to believe that we must "Do Something" in order to receive.
Have we considered that it is nearly impossible to talk and listen at the same time.
Have we considered Grace? i.e. Grace Period. Some call it "The Meantime". Whichever you choose to call it, It is the space between the asking and the manifestation of what we have asked for. This space is very important. It is during this time that we get to enjoy the feeling of "It" before it actually manifests. i.e. The equivalent of watching a movie trailer before the movie is released, then saying "OOh, I want to see that!"

This "Good" feeling is exactly what is needed to create something wonderful.

"The Don Imus Controversy"

"You are a #@$%*?"........

Do we know who we "REALLY" are?

If so, then why do we become so upset when the opinion of others does not match the image we have of ourselves? Hmmmmm? Maybe we are not as secure as we would like to believe or maybe we really don't know who we are after all!

So then who are we? ....That depends on which part of you answers the question. The ego will respond by saying I am 5ft, 1_ 5 lbs, Smart, Funny etc.

But who are we really? How do we confirm, validate and ground ourselves while maintaining a healthy sense of fellowship with others?

First, it is important to become aware that we are "Spiritual Beings".....extensions of Source Energy. Everything in the Universe is Energy!

Second, it is important to understand that we are all connected. We are all a part of the Universal Life Force. There is no separation. i.e. The Pacific Ocean is the Pacific Ocean there is no separation within this. I once heard a wise person say..."No tree would have branches foolish enough to fight amongst themselves."

Once we understand this, we are able to better maintain our center and grounding. We will no longer LOOK for "Opportunities" to be offended.........And that's the truth!

"Anger"...The double edged sword!

"Anger"......."Destructive Behavior" or "Creative Ally"?

How are you using your anger?
Do you deny that it exists for you?........ Or are you using it to create change in your life?

Anger has been given a bad rep. It definitely has the ability to be channeled into productive change. However, misused anger can result in depression, weight gain, and a multitude of other disorders. So how does one channel anger into productive change?

The first step is to recognize it when it surfaces.
Anger is activated by our thoughts. Maybe you are thinking about something from the past. Or you may have allowed something or someone to disrupt your natural flow of grace.

The second step is to set the intention to channel it outward instead of turning it inward.
"How"? (you ask). Take a walk, or do something physically, something that will stimulate your senses. The goal is to take your thoughts away from the counterproductive or destructive ideas, and redirect the adrenaline toward productivity.

Then explore ways to create something new from the experience. i.e. A rude driver may motivate me to leave a few minutes earlier which assuages my sense of urgency. Then I have removed the element of "Survival Mode" from the equation. Or, you can find a way to appreciate the creativity of others. i.e. Watching your favorite comedy show. It's hard to laugh and be angry at the same time!
Laugh it off!

"The Secret to Having a Healthy Body"....It's not what you think!

Many ask and want to know...."How do I lose weight?", "Why am I tired all of the time?","How do I get more energy?". Well, I have an answer, and it's not what you think!......

Throughout my years as an Intuitive Counselor & Holistic Health Consultant I am often asked these questions. 95% of the time the answers to these questions are the same varying only slightly and at different degrees. "WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?"

The most important key to having a healthy body is strengthening your sense of self love....."I LOVE MYSELF!" (you say in self-defense). Just hear me out. If you are wanting to lose weight for example, What do you say to yourself when you look in the mirror? Do you magnify every little flaw? Do you point to areas of your body then complain and snarl with disgust? Your thoughts are a double edged sword. They can heal or harm your physical body!

The first step toward a healthy body is simple.......Stop criticizing yourself. Begin to appreciate the vehicle your spirit chose to use to navigate your life in this physical plane.

Next, see your body as magnificent, like a muscle car for example; full of power and strength. Be thankful for all of the times that your body has recovered and repaired itself from the cold or flu.
(no muscle car could ever do that!)

Then appreciate your body by feeding it with the proper fuel. (high performance octane!)
(just kidding), and Caring for your skin ( the paint job). Ok. Seriously. The more love you show toward your body, the better you'll feel from the inside out. And that's the truth!

"The Secret To Having Everything You Want"

How do I get what I want?

There are three keys to getting what you want......
PRAYER
MEDITATION
MANIFESTATION

The first key to getting what you want is through prayer. Prayer is asking for what you want, it is an action. You may pray through words, affirmations, or visualization.

The second key to getting what you want is by Meditating. Meditation is a receptive energy, i.e. "listening". This is the equivalent of a conversation you may have with a loved one. You talk , then you listen to what your loved one is saying. Meditation is "active listening" for synchronicity or instructions on what the next step is toward manifestation.

The last key to having what you want is allowing the Manifestation. This step includes aligning yourself with what you are asking for by being grateful for what you have already, and believing you deserve what you are asking for. Then releasing it to the universe and trust that what you want wants you and it is on it's way!

"The Psychic's Eyes"

"Psychic Reading" vs "Intuitive Counseling"

What is the difference between a "Psychic Reading" and consulting with a Spiritual Counselor?
The most obvious difference is in the delivery and content of the message. Psychic readings are great for one who is searching for data only. On the other end of the spectrum are Divine messages which one receives when the individual is searching for meaning and personal growth. While one is not superior to the other, there is a definite difference. Psychic information is helpful when one is in need of data i.e. Descriptions of a particular locale, "remote viewing", finding lost objects, etc. During a psychic reading one might ask, "Will I get the job I applied for?", "Does my boyfriend love me?" , "Can I trust this person?"
During an Intuitive Conseling session one might ask, "What am I attracting into my life right now?", "What changes do I need to make in order to manifest a rewarding career?", "How do I attract loving relationships into my life?"
Each of these gifts are equally important, there have been a number of psychics who have been very helpful in missing person cases. For the individual who is searching for an understanding of the larger picture of ones life, the lessons of the soul, self empowerment, and an opportunity to reshape their lives, intuitive counseling is for them.
