"DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES"!

............And you shall receive!

We learn early in life how to ask. In infancy, we cry (a form of asking). Our new parents are eagerly willing to oblige us. Sometimes the motivation is stimulated by their need for silence at 2:00 am, and propelled by the knowledge that they have to go to work within the next few hours.
In adolescence we throw tantrums!(a more aggressive form of asking)
As an adult we are tenacious in our asking. We work long hours because we want a promotion, we wear certain clothes because we want to attract the perfect mate, or we study REALLY hard so that we may EARN a degree. In all of these cases we are asking!
We have the "Asking" perfected. So what's next? How do we receive what we are asking for?

We have been conditioned to believe that we must "Do Something" in order to receive.
Have we considered that it is nearly impossible to talk and listen at the same time.
Have we considered Grace? i.e. Grace Period. Some call it "The Meantime". Whichever you choose to call it, It is the space between the asking and the manifestation of what we have asked for. This space is very important. It is during this time that we get to enjoy the feeling of "It" before it actually manifests. i.e. The equivalent of watching a movie trailer before the movie is released, then saying "OOh, I want to see that!"

This "Good" feeling is exactly what is needed to create something wonderful.

I wish you Love & Light
