Dale Earnhardt was penalized for illegally modifying the rear wing of his car.
The team's president Max Siegel made a statement..."We are not disputing the ruling", "But we are appealing the severity of the penalty because the penalty itself is not spelled out in the rule book."

"Bob Marley"

Robert Nesta Marley became a reggae legend known as Bob Marley.
Today, May 11, 2007 marks the 26th anniversary of his transition from physical life. It is reported that his last words to his son Ziggy were, "Money Can't Buy Life."

His words of wisdom continue to resonate from beyond his grave. (At least for me)
I contemplate the word itself "Life" and it's true definition. I've often heard the word life being associated with some negative event or circumstances like "Life's a B*@#$" or "Life is short."
Yet here is a man whom on his deathbed has somehow captured the essence of what the true meaning of life is.

Bob grew up under modest conditions and I'm sure that his fame brought him a lifestyle that far exceeded his humble background. Based on his last statement I think it would be safe for me to assume that at one time in his life he placed monetary achievements well above the gift of life itself.

In the midst of the whirlwind of activity surrounding "The Secret" and " The Law of Attraction" I must admit that I've become a little disappointed by how much emphasis is being placed on the "things" aspect of these spiritual laws. I'm almost positive that the purveyors of these spiritual tools intended that the lesson of prosperity in it's entirety be embraced. Money is just one component of prosperity, without all of the pieces i.e Health (physical , Mental, Emotional, Spiritual) prosperity ceases to exist.

What began as a casual Internet journey , turned into a provocative philosophical lesson once I came across what I thought at first was a bit of History Trivia.

"American Idol's Lakisha Goes Home"

Last night the announcement was made that Lakisha from "American Idol" was voted off of the show.
Prior to the announcement and during a commercial break the shows host Ryan Seacrest made and observation, he noticed that she was talking to herself. He later asked her about it on air. "What were you talking about?"

She responded, "If I go home, hopefully I remember the words, and I don't want to cry." She further explained by saying, "I have to give myself these little talks."

This young lady is a good example of a "Positive Thinker", She was pre-setting the intention to maintain her grace and confidence in the event that she was eliminated.

In my opinion she gets Five (*****) Stars...

"Mission Accomplished Miss. Lakisha!"

"David Hasselhoff Loses Visitaion Rights"

According to recent reports, David Hasselfoff is a recovering alcholic. When a home video of Hasselhoff drunk surfaced on the internet a Superior Court Judge suspended his visitation rights of his two teenage daughters until further review of the tape.

In a statement Hasselhoff admitted to being a recovering Alcoholic. He then goes on to say

"Despite that I have been going through a painful divorce and I have recently been separated from my children due to my work, I have been successfully dealing with my issue," he said.

"Unfortunately, one evening I did have a brief relapse, but part of recovery is relapse."

Wow....now here is a man who is very forgiving of himself and understands that change is a process.

Did you know that the road to recovery/healing may include an occassional bump or glitch. It does not mean that we have failed in any way. Our pain is a very good indicator that we are healing and "Work in Progress" Failure comes once one has given up without the reward. The reward is the journey itself...i.e would you enjoy sports if there were only the end score without the game itself. Have you ever told your friend that you did not want to know the end of a movie because you had not seen it yet? Somehow knowing the ending would ruin the story. It is the journey that makes life sweet....not the sweet by and by that we are promised in Sunday School. The gift is in the journey of life. Take your time, appreciate the landscape and views.....Enjoy the Ride.

I wish you Love & Light

"Paris Hilton Sentensed to Jail"

During her hearing Paris Hilton insisted

"I did not want to break the law," she told the judge "I did what I was told. I would never drive just because I want to. I follow the law and I respect the law. From now on I want to pay complete attention to everything."

According to court documents Hilton denied knowledge of having a suspended license, Yet in her glove compartment was a copy of a document with her signature acknowledging that her license had been suspended.

What have you agreed to without fully comprehending the implications?
Did you know that your thoughts are unspoken agreements and/ or requests from the Universe.
Each time you make a statement like......
"I'm broke"," I'm Dumb"," I'm Fat" etc. You are affirming those things. They are seeds that you have planted and replant each time you say or think them. We all know that the seeds you plant will eventually harvest.

Pay attention to your agreements....Even the unspoken ones.

I wish you Love & Light
