In a statement Hasselhoff admitted to being a recovering Alcoholic. He then goes on to say
"Despite that I have been going through a painful divorce and I have recently been separated from my children due to my work, I have been successfully dealing with my issue," he said.
"Unfortunately, one evening I did have a brief relapse, but part of recovery is relapse."
Wow....now here is a man who is very forgiving of himself and understands that change is a process.Did you know that the road to recovery/healing may include an occassional bump or glitch. It does not mean that we have failed in any way. Our pain is a very good indicator that we are healing and "Work in Progress" Failure comes once one has given up without the reward. The reward is the journey itself...i.e would you enjoy sports if there were only the end score without the game itself. Have you ever told your friend that you did not want to know the end of a movie because you had not seen it yet? Somehow knowing the ending would ruin the story. It is the journey that makes life sweet....not the sweet by and by that we are promised in Sunday School. The gift is in the journey of life. Take your time, appreciate the landscape and views.....Enjoy the Ride.
I wish you Love & Light
